I go by the "reblog the things you love" rule on Tumblr, which means (because I love a lot of things) I post rather excessively. Strong ladies and strong fictional ladies are incredibly important to me, and I'd like them to be treated well. DOUG: Today’s the 20th, isn’t it?
CAROL: Think so.
DOUG: MCATs are this afternoon, aren’t they? You going?
CAROL: Gotta work!
DOUG: All that saved up vacation time?
CAROL: You know it was a stupid idea.
DOUG: Yeah. (sighs)
CAROL: And four years of med school - I mean, if I ever get in - all that debt, I’d be about fifty by the time I got out. What’s the point?
DOUG: Well I could bring you coffee in the middle of the night to the med library and I could teach you how to cheat on the biochem exams.
(They smile at each other.)
NURSE: Doug, they need you up at peds’.
DOUG: OK. Think about it.
