Dum Dum Girls - Coming Down

You abuse the ones who love you
You abuse the ones who won’t
If you ever had a real heart
I don’t think you’d know where to start

“Always Looking” | Dum Dum Girls

i am super late to the dum dum girls party (there is a ddg party, right?), but i think i’m in love. sometimes there’s nothing quite so wonderful as an album of guitar-driven, sixties-girl-group-influenced songs with simplistic yet catchy melodies and straightforward lyrics. bonuses: their singer sounds like the love child of chrissie hynde and patti smith, and i’m pretty sure they got their name from an iggy pop song. so! i could not approve more.
